OVERVIEW
The Velvelettes were one of Motown's famous "Girl Groups" from the 1960s. These young ladies from Western Michigan University had a top ten hit with their song "Needle In A Haystack" and toured with Motown legends Smokey Robinson and The Temptations. This interactive was part of a Kalamazoo Valley Museum exhibit celebrating their careers and the community.

THE VELVELETTES: The client asked for a video kiosk to display some existing footage they had. We also decided the kiosk would be a good way to introduce the group's music into the exhibit space. This simple, super fun project has always been one of my favorites. I even got to meet the ladies who were quite gracious and genuinely appreciative of my work.
